5/08/2002 - finally got a chance to make it back out to bandimere again. this time with a few new go-fast-goodies. i now have a 3.0" pulley installed, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, exhaust u-bend and resonator have been replaced with 3" pipe, and i'm running with cooler plugs (ngk tr6's). times have improved quite a bit since the last time out, but i do need to work on my 60' times. with a cool engine, and running full street trim (including all stereo equipment in the trunk), i managed a couple 14.7xx runs. getting better. click for a view of the timeslip from my quickest run of the night.

10/11/2000 - well, i made my first trip to the track since moving to colorado, and i must say, altitude does make a significant impact on our cars. the track was very busy, so i only got to make two runs, unfortunately. my times for the two runs are listed in the table below. yep, a far cry from the consistant 14.0 and 14.1's i ran back in wisconsin. still running the 3.4" pulley and everything else, including race prep, was the same.

below are the results from my third trip to the track. this time we went to byron dragway in byron, illinois. since my last trip to the track, ihave added new wheels and tires (17" AE077 wheels with BFG Comp T/A HR4 tires). as prep for running today, i again removed all stereo equipment and extra weight from my trunk, removed the headlight to allow more cool air into the intake, lowered air pressure in the front tires and ice'd the supercharger between groups of runs. again, my best run is in red. i was hoping to get close to my best time from the last trip to the track, but it didn't happen. i feel this must have something to do with difference in track conditions, or the addition of new, larger wheels/tires. however, i was running consistant times near the 14.0 mark, so i couldn't complain too much.

6/17/00 - below are the results from my second trip to the track. since my first trip, i have added a 3.4" supercharger pulley. as prep for running today, i removed all stereo equipment and extra weight from my trunk, removed the headlight to allow more cool air to enter the intake, lowered air pressure in the front tires (stock tires) and ice'd the supercharger between groups of runs. again, my best run is in red. for a car with only a 3.4" pulley and an open cone, i was quite impressed with my times.

this was my first time out to the track. for this being the case, i feel that i ran pretty well, making a best time of 14.470 @ 95.35 mph. my mods consisted of only an open k&n cone. the only thing that i did for race prep was to ice the supercharger before a group of runs (usually 3 runs between cool-downs). i was also running on stock tires at ~30 psi, and did not even remove any of my stereo equipment from the trunk. with this in mind, check out my times below... the quickest run is in red.
